These cookies I’ve been making for a couple of decades, and yes, because they never fail and are delicious! You can also be a little creative and add e.g. cinnamon or other spices you love! I double the recipe since I’m at it, keep it in a tight box to avoid moist to enter, and it lasts for days (in theory that is…normally the turnover does not allow many days…). Enjoy!
100 gr butter
125 gr sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
150 gr plain flour
75 gr chopped almonds
100 gr chopped chocolate
Mix sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add one egg and mix it all together. Add all dry ingredients and almonds/chocolate and mix until even batter.
Place one tablespoon of the batter on a tray with grease proof paper.
Bake until golden brown in pre-heated oven to 200 °C in the middle for about 15 min. Remove and cool down. Place in a tight tin and enjoy!
