Christmas preparations started

Last weekend I had my nephew visiting and it’s become a tradition to spend first weekend of advent to do some Christmas baking. Of course it’s his wish list that counts, and this year he decided upon marshmallows with cherries, biscotti, chocolate biscuits, Sarah Bernard and a couple of Norwegian “small cakes” like Berlinerkranser and Kokosboller.

It was a busy weekend and we enjoyed very much. The result became as delicious as picture shows, but of course some of the cakes has to be enjoyed fresh, so no use waiting until Christmas!

I will post recipes here the next week, recipes that are new but also the ones used by my mother and grand mother. Enjoy and have a lovely pre-Christmas time 🙂
